Polar Bears in Sweaters Art Project
Like the directed drawing reindeer portrait, these bears in sweaters are an easy one that you can do during your first week back. No prep, no mess.
Time required:
Drawing ~15-20 minutes
Colouring/painting ~20-30
Materials:
White paper
Pencil
Sharpie
Colouring tool of your choice (crayon , pencil crayon, paint etc)
Steps:
Start by drawing a large oval on the middle of the page for the head.
Towards the top, draw an ear on either side of the head. You can erase the bit that connects the head and the ears.
Draw an “avocado” shape for the snout. Inside, add a nose.
Draw two eyes above the snout.
From the bottom of the head, draw two curved lines, going towards the bottom of the page for the sweater.
You can design the sweater any way you like. I did some curved horizontal lines and did a pattern in each one
Trace all lines with a Sharpie. Now add some fur to the face and ears.
Colour your project using the colouring tool of choice.
Add some snowflakes falling around your bear.
