Santa In the City Art Project

Looking for an easy, no prep art project this December? I love that Santa pops out from the black and white background.

Before you start, check out some city maps, or pictures and notice which buildings are needed and the different shapes in various building types.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Materials:

• White paper (1 sheet for background, one 1/2 sheet for Santa)

• Red, black and tan marker

• Pencil

• Glue

Procedure:

1. Start by drawing Santa (feel free to use any directed drawing video to help out).

2. Colour in Santa using the markers and cut him out, set aside.

3. On the white background, draw a city scene. Add buildings, roads and you can even add a moon and stars.

4. Once the background is complete, glue Santa somewhere in the city.
